Our Offer

Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centers, four emergency centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the child health unit, 1177, and the general medical education center. We operate a broad primary care activity where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The health centers in Kisa and Österbymo are two well-functioning rural health centers within Primary Care Centre in Region Östergötland, with close cooperation and a shared ambition to offer good, accessible care with high quality, accessibility, and continuity. Together we are responsible for approximately 12,000 registered patients and offer primary care with great breadth, flexible solutions, and a well-functioning collaboration with the municipalities' home care. You will be part of Primary Care Centre's network for dietitians where there is great scope for exchanging experience within the region.

Job Description

As a dietitian with us, you will have a varied and independent job located at both the health centers in Kisa and Österbymo. You will become an important part of our multiprofessional teams and work closely with patients and colleagues to promote health, prevent disease, and contribute to good living habits. The assignment includes nutritional assessments, individually designed nutritional treatments, prescription of nutritional products, and patient information both individually and in groups. You also serve as an important support for colleagues in nutritional matters. Part of the role is focused on health conversations, where motivational interviewing and guidance on lifestyle changes based on the patient's individual needs constitute a central part of the work. The position offers great opportunities for collaboration and development, and we welcome new ideas and initiatives so that together we can continue to develop the assignment and create the best possible conditions for our patients.

Work Group

Our operations play an important role in the community and meet a wide variety of medical issues, from preventive measures and follow-up of chronic diseases to more acute care needs. Thanks to the distance to the nearest hospital, primary care has a prominent and significant function, which creates both special challenges and great opportunities to develop safe and accessible care, even in patients' homes when necessary. With us, you become part of engaged work groups where cooperation, participation, and a person-centered approach are a natural part of everyday life.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed dietitian and have experience in your professional role. Experience from working in primary care is an advantage.

As a person, you are curious, engaged, and have a solution-oriented approach to work. The job requires that you have good cooperation skills and thrive as part of a team, but also that you have the ability to work independently. It is also important that you have a good ability and willingness to develop the operations and can take into account the broader perspective and look at the best interests of the entire operation. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the position.
